Azariah Cosplay (Liz Shepherd)

Picture
Liz Shepherd, aka Kayla Charban, is the crazy personality behind Azariah Cosplay. She grew up and currently lives in the beautiful city of Thunder Bay, Ontario; a Northern city in Canada that brings new meaning to the phrase “Winter is Coming”. She is a life long geek with a strong passion for video games, anime, manga, history, dragons and cosplay.

She has always been an artistic person with a passion for geek subcultures. It wasn’t until she was in her late teens and early twenties,  while working at a historical re-enactment park, that she discovered she had a natural knack for sewing. She has fond memories of creeping other cosplayers pictures and wishing she could do it herself, and one day she just decided to hunker down and do it.

She's been making costumes for a few years but didn’t enter the cosplay scene until 2014 when she debuted her Nightingale cosplay from Skyrim. She couldn’t believe the reception her cosplay received. That was when she decided to help others achieve their own cosplay dream.
