Celebrating our Fifth Anniversary!
Come and “get your GEEK on” with all the rest of Thunder Bay’s geeks, nerds and fans of all stripes. There will be plenty of things to do including vendors in Diagon Alley, board and card game demos, a cosplay contest, video game demos, VR and tourneys and scavenger hunts. Meet a celebrity, get an autograph, throw a friend in jail, sit on the Iron Throne. Go on a LARP adventure, watch staged performances and participate in panel discussions and workshops.There are even special activities for the kids. This year, we aim to misbehave, and BRING THE THUNDER!

NEW VENUE
Our fifth year, a brand new venue! Because of unprecedented expansion, ThunderCon 2019 is moving to the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition grounds on May Street, across from Intercity Mall. With a combination of outdoor and indoor spaces, we look forward to partnering with local businesses like Silver City and the Farmers' Market to add to our diverse platform of programming. Keep watching for more announcements regarding this exciting new move!
2019 DATES
Because of the move and the increase in our outdoor footprint, the dates for ThunderCon 2019 are September 21 + 22. Fall is stunning in Thunder Bay and we hope the sun will shine on us all weekend long!
