On Sept 17/18, 2022, Thunder Comic Con will be hosting ThunderCon 2022, the largest sci-fi and pop culture convention in Northwestern Ontario. ThunderCon is a registered Not for Profit Organization with the intention of promoting arts and culture through a comic convention style event. Our goal is to engage the public in seminars, presentations and panel style interactions to help promote art and literacy for all ages in our community.
In 2022, ThunderCon celebrates a return to the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition (CLE) grounds, with an accessible central venue with grand scope and outdoor space for our 6th ThunderCon event. Exhibitors from across the country are already booking booths/tables (artists' tables are SOLD OUT) to showcase their work and sell their products. We are always working on adding more features and have our international celebrities booked and eager to join us at this year’s event.
To surpass the level of success achieved at the last event, our team is seeking sponsorships or donations from our community partners. With your business’ participation as sponsor, we can ensure a successful event for the ThunderCon 2022. Your support is extremely important to our continued success. As a not-for-profit organization, it is through the hard work of volunteers, generous contributions from local businesses and ticket revenue that allows for a successful event. We work hard to provide value to our sponsors and invite you to connect with us to give your brand the ThunderCon Boost, reaching a market increasingly isolated from traditional advertising.
